Hylpa Freelancer Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to Hylpa! These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your engagement as a freelancer through our platform. By submitting your application to Hylpa, you agree to comply with these Terms if selected to provide services.

2. Application and Selection Process
Application: Freelancers are required to fill out the application form provided by Hylpa. Submission of this form does not guarantee selection.
Selection: Hylpa will review all applications and contact selected freelancers based on project requirements. If selected, you will be notified via the contact details you provided.
No Account Creation: Freelancers do not create accounts on the Hylpa platform. All interactions and agreements will be managed directly by Hylpa.
3. Freelancer Obligations
Service Delivery: If selected for a project, you agree to deliver services professionally and within the agreed timeline.
Quality Standards: You must ensure that all work meets the quality expectations set by Hylpa and the specific requirements of the client.
Communication: You agree to maintain open and prompt communication with Hylpa representatives throughout the duration of the project.
Confidentiality: You must maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information received during the course of your work.
4. Communication Restrictions
Direct Client Communication: Freelancers are not permitted to communicate directly with clients outside of Hylpa without explicit permission from Hylpa. All project-related communications must be conducted through Hylpa’s official channels.
Violation of Communication Policy: Any attempt to bypass Hylpa's communication channels or engage in off-platform communication with clients without permission will be considered a breach of these Terms and may result in termination of your involvement in the project.
5. Payments
Payment Structure: Hylpa will determine payment on a per-project basis. You will be informed of the payment terms before commencing any work.
Payment Schedule: Payments will be processed upon the successful completion of the project and within a timeframe communicated to you by Hylpa.
Payment Method: Payments will be made via bank transfer or another method agreed upon by both parties.
6. Dispute Resolution
Disputes with Hylpa: If any disputes arise regarding the terms of work or payment, you agree to first attempt to resolve the issue directly with Hylpa. Hylpa’s decision on any disputes will be final and binding.
7. Termination
Termination by Freelancer: You may withdraw from a project at any time before starting work, but you must notify Hylpa immediately.
Termination by Hylpa: Hylpa reserves the right to terminate your involvement in a project at any time if you fail to meet the agreed-upon standards or violate these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
Ownership: You retain ownership of any intellectual property you create unless otherwise agreed upon with Hylpa or the client.
License: By submitting work to Hylpa, you grant Hylpa and the client a license to use the work for its intended purpose.
Infringement: You agree not to use or submit any materials that infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
9. Confidentiality
Client Information: You must keep all client information confidential and use it solely for the purpose of completing the project.
Hylpa’s Confidentiality: You agree not to disclose any confidential information related to Hylpa’s business, clients, or operations.
10. Limitation of Liability
Hylpa’s Liability: Hylpa is not liable for any damages arising from your involvement in the platform, including loss of income or reputation.
Freelancer’s Liability: You are responsible for any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from your actions while completing a project.
11. Governing Law
Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, specifically Anambra State, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Anambra State.
